Premenstrual bloating is caused by water retention, which happens right before a woman begins menstruating, premenstrual water retention occurs due to the fluctuation in a woman’s hormones. In the days leading up to her period, a woman’s diet also plays a role in premenstrual bloating to reduce the bloating before your period. Women should consider limiting their intake of salt in their diet, which can significantly impact water retention if you experience premenstrual water retention. You can also try to take magnesium supplements, which can help reduce the bloating. You can also purchase a diuretic that can help reduce bloating.

Other techniques to decrease or improve premenstrual bloating include regular exercise, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and meditation. Remember, bloating before your period is perfectly normal.

 Irritable Bowel Syndrome

 This disorder is classified by various symptoms with abdominal bloating being the main one. Women do experience extreme discomfort, but their intestines are not in any real danger. This disorder is believed to be caused by an increase or decrease in intestinal contractions. There is specific medication that can be taken for this disorder. So, it would be best to speak with a medical practitioner before you take anything. Bloating is one of the most common symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome. Other symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation and gas to reduce bloating caused by irritable bowel syndrome. You can make simple lifestyle changes which can help provide you with relief. One way to reduce bloating associated with irritable bowel syndrome is by changing your diet.

There are all sorts of different types of foods which can help contribute to bloating. By eliminating these types of foods from your diet, you can help reduce bloating. Such examples include foods high in fiber like beans, fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. If you are lactose intolerant, you may want to consider eliminating dairy products from your diet. Women with endometriosis may develop cysts which are called endometrial. This occurs when the endometriosis tissue attached to the ovary begins to form a growth. Cysts can also develop during early pregnancy and can also be caused by pelvic infections, which spread to a woman’s ovaries and fallopian tubes. Although most ovarian cysts do not cause any symptoms because of their small size, there are some symptoms associated with certain types of cysts. This includes bloating, swelling or pain located in the lower abdomen. This pain is typically sharp or dull. Some other symptoms include pain during a woman’s period. Pain during sex. Pain in the lower back or thighs. Pelvic pain. Unexplained weight gain. Tenderness in the breasts and the need to urinate more often than usual.

Now those are the most common reasons why women are constantly bloated. But there are also other common reasons why everyone is bloated.

Infection

 Your abdominal areas can become bloated or inflamed. If you have an infection, the triggers of an infection are what caused the bloating because the white blood cell count is elevated around the pelvic, urinary and gastrointestinal organs.

 Constipation

 This is a common reason why many people have a bloated abdominal area. Constipation causes the stool to remain in the intestines, which puts major pressure on the stomach, leaving you with pain, discomfort and gas. The two main reasons for constipation are not eating enough fiber and not drinking enough water.

 Dehydration

Have you ever noticed the day after you’ve consumed salty foods or drinking alcohol that you’ve become dehydrated and bloated? The reason behind this is that when your body tries to recover from dehydration, it holds onto excess water to prevent it from occurring again. This means that when you finally decide to drink some water, it’s likely to be stored for longer periods of time to avoid dehydration. Be sure to drink the standard eight glasses of water every single day. Avoid drinking too much alcohol. And when you notice that you are thirsty, drink water. A classic sign of dehydration is when we are thirsty. So, if you feel thirsty, drink up.

There are all sorts of things that can cause chronic bloating and women. Bloating occurs when a person’s gastrointestinal tract or G.I. tract fills with gas or air and is characterized by a bloated feeling in the abdomen that feels swollen, tight or full. When someone is bloated, they may have excessive gas experience, frequent belching or burping, or even have trouble sleeping.

It can also be caused by eating or drinking too quickly, chewing gum, smoking or even wearing loose dentures. Although bloating is typically caused by many different types of medical conditions like irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, heartburn and more, it can also be caused by various mental health factors. These factors include anxiety, stress, depression and more bloating can also be caused by different types of medications. On average, a woman’s colon is 10 centimeters longer than a man’s, usually to allow them to absorb more water and fluid during pregnancy. Chad Can explains her findings because you have to keep the amniotic fluid replete in the circulation and blood volume increases during pregnancy. She also points out why constant bloating occurs for women, what the extra length in the colon does is create this redundancy. These sorts of extra twists and turns. And that’s why women are so much more bloated and constipated than their male counterparts. Another reason why women are more prone to chronic bloating is because of the shape of their pelvis.

Women have a round pelvis, so more of their colon drops into it because their uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes are taking up a lot of the space above the pelvis.

So women were generally built to experience constant bloating, but there are also other reasons that occurs that are not related to the shape of their body. You should also consider eating a diet that is rich in nutrients and also add some form of exercise to your life.
